Describe them badly
One sentence is enough. “My sister who is weirdly into lighthouses.” Or drop in a photo of their shelf, desk or kitchen — objects tell us more than adjectives ever will.

A vague brief has several honest readings, so you get all of them as clusters — plant person, maker, properly odd — and you pick the one that sounds like them.

When something is promoted it says so on the card, in the same place, every time. Money never changes the order of what you see.
No gendered aisles
“Gifts for him” tells you nothing about a person. Every route into Oddly is a kind of person or a real interest, never a demographic.
No dead links or fake stock
Prices and availability are checked when you look, not scraped last quarter. If something has gone, we say so and find you the nearest thing.
